another opti thread...

ok im just trying to get an estimate of how long they can last after they show the EARLY signs of going bad (i.e. after running awhile and getting hot mis stumble something odd.. no rpm climb anyway, or really hot completely backfire! i saw fire tonight =/) but anyway how much longer would yall say it has? (car just rolled over to 147k tonight)

also while im at it about the optis.. is it possible to put a 95+ vented opti ona 94 without changing anything? (already have a new 95+ elbow just have the hole for the vacuum plugged off as of now) but does anything else have to be done?

Could be the next mile or next thousand miles. At 147k, you are already on borrowed time. The opti is a wear item and does not last forever.
