another oil pump question

I am building a road race 383, with le2 heads le4 cam etc.

My machine builder sold me a canton oil pan with the canton pickup 20-010 which is for the standard sbc pump. My current pump has a 3/4 pickup on it. THis pickup is smaller, I can't find a ruler, but I guess it is 5/8 '".

What pump and shaft can I use with this? I wan't a reliable standard volume/pressure pump, this engine will run up to 7k rpm.

Anything else needed, gasket etc?

THanks,

Tim

Thanks for the link, but I already have the 5/8 pickup...looking for a pump that will work with it.

I don't know why you would want to go with a 5/8" pickup when you could use a 3/4". The larger would be better, IMHO. Pickups are cheap. It's not like you going to save a lot of money, lol.

I hear ya, I don't know why chad sold me this pickup, it is a special pickup for the canton road race pan....I guess I'll just order the 3/4 from canton...what's another 30$ compared to the thousands already spent
