Question Amsoil

Anyone have any experience with AMSOIL synthetic oil?

Just curious how it stacks up against Mobil 1, or other brands for that matter.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Amsoil is an excellent oil, better than Mobil 1 in my opinion, and in this test below in an LS1:

Yeah that stuff is good oil. I used it in my Turbo Talon a while back. Its just that it is hard to come by.

good stuff for sure... Ive run it in my dirt bike and it was awesome stuff... of course thats completely different than car oil. But anyway Id say its at least equal to the quality of mobil 1... if not better.

I've heard that very good things about it... I would use it.. but up here in Canada, it's not exactly cheap. Plus it is completly out of my way (only one specialty shop that I know sells it)

Good stuff.
I began using it for a motorcycle a few years back and shortly thereafter began using it in everything I own.

I especially like their 0w-30 stuff for new cars.

Canadian Tire sells Amsoil now. They've got their 5w30 and 10w30 for $9.10 per quart and the 0w30 for $12.80 They also sell Redline now, for $12.99 per quart (although it was on sale a few weeks ago for $10.39 per quart)
