I had mine done for $250 and that included new bearings supplied by the shop. My gears cost me $100 from a member here and my diff was $99 from SLP.

I believe new Motive gears should cost between $160-$200. If they are charging you $300 for the gears, you are getting raped.

Hey man,
for $1300, save a little more and buy yourself a 12 bolt.
Or, take it to Speed Inc in Schaumburg. They should be able to give you a better deal.

i paid $1300 for my friggin 12bolt(2nd hand).

gears are 160-200, i wouldn't bother with an Auburn pro.. just stick with a stock auburn in a 10bolt.. thats another $100, bearings and install shouldnt run more than 250..

100 for SLP carrier. 170 for Motives, 150 for install, bearings, a pinion seal and some syn fluid ran me about 80 bucks.

So about 500 bucks.
