Aluminum heads on a 93?!
Today I dropped the engine out of the '93 I bought a couple of months ago and only after it was out 
, I noticed it has aluminum heads on it. Here's a picture. (please don't mind the nastyness... it will all be clean very soon and a new engine will go in)
I thought the 93s had iron heads?

No LT1 F-Body had iron heads, or corvette for that matter. The ONLY Iron Headed LT1's were all B-Body's.

As for the 93 F-body LT1s having iron heads, I've read it a couple threads here, in lt1tech...

OK, maybe I was drunk or something... 
I knew about all the Vette and Camaro engines having aluminum heads and the B-body having iron heads, but for some reason I had the impression that the 93 F-body engines had iron heads... What's really weird is that I've done a plug/wire change on a 93 before and I don't know how I didn't pay attention to that. Thanks for correcting me guys... I'll stop making a clown out of myself now.
