Aluminum Flywheel is in!

Hey guys, just wanted let everyone know I got my Spec Aluminum flywheel and Stage III Carbon clutch in this weekend! Spec has AWESOME customer service, one of the employees actually met me just off the highway in Birmingham at 8:00 at night since they are normally open 8 to 5. I can't wait to see what it runs now!

You think it will hold that 150 shot now? Shoot after my weekend I may be going the same route. Keep us posted.

I KNOW it will hold the 150, it is very stout and grabby. I dropped the clutch yesterday and ripped the threads out of my tranny mount! I will be fixing that tonight. I am very happy with the clutch though. Clutch pedal is much lighter than it was before somehow. Slight vibration from the flywheel though.

How fast does that thing rev, and how impossible is it to drive with a stage 3 and no inertia? I guess you wont know for another 500 miles though anyway, let us know.

It is kinda of a beyatch to drive daily but when you let it rip it is worth it! It revs slightly quicker than stock. Stock as weighed on my digital scale 19 lbs aluminum spec flywheel 13 lbs.

What do you mean the clutch pedal is "lighter." That may be what I am looking for if you can explain.

Clutch pedal is MUCH easier to push in. That part is really nice for street driving but it REALLY grabs it's kinda on or off.

And that much easier to hold at that edge of launch I assume. I think that is what I needed yesterday.
