alternator's jacked...i think

charging problems.........the volatge is fine then everynow and then it will hit in the red (on highway not just at lights) i need to know what the if the alt i have is a 124 or 140amp....its a delco so i assume its an original, i had it rebuilt about a year ago..........i just had it tested at 115 peak amprage (if thats a word)......but if it is the original..which i think it is.... how many amps stock did it come......the car was built 6/94
th epart number is underneath so i couldn't get to it....you didn;t expect me to make this easy on you did ya........thanks

and if it is the alt.........i need to know how many amp alt to get........i have underdrive pully and i'm running 3 amps for my system so charging blows

140 amp alts were used 1994-1997. Underdrive pulleys and big stereo amps are potential abusers of the charging system, especially at idle rpms.

Make sure you don't have any loose connections and the stud on the back of the alternator is not loose. You should not be experiencing low voltage on the highway. If all connections are good, you're gonna need a new alt.
