Alternator relocation???

Is it possible to relocate the alternator on our 4th gens? And if so how do I do it and what do I need to get the job done?

I wouldn't think it's possible, given the space under the hood. Mainly I just don't know where you could put it, not to mention you would have to change the pulley system.

Its possible to do on any car. You have plenty of room on the drivers side if you remove the air pump. Even if you don't remove it, I'm sure you can find some way to do it. Re-routing the belts might be a slight pain, but nothing you can't get past. I know Madman Racing makes a bracket for the alt. if you get rid of your ac and ps also.

Thanks guys. I found a bracket on moreperformanceinc.com for $179. I'd have to lose my power steering though and I'm not sure I'm ready to do that. Something to think about.
