alternator mounting?

alternator mounting?

anyone have a pic of how the alternator mounts on?

Match up the upper mounting hole with the bracket, and make sure the pulley for the belt faces the front of the car. It's probably easier to plug the alternator in before you attempt to mount it. The top mounting screw goes in from the rear, not the front, like you would think. So that you are ratcheting it from the backside. Hope this answered your question?

EDIT: There is an engine pic on page 2 of the link below. It does show the alternator, but from the front.

lol. it took me 3 hours to replace wire #4...that thing was right under one of the header pipes.
the reason i wanted a pic of the alternator was because on the left side of the alternator, there are two "rods" that mount onto it...after working in the heat for so long, i couldnt really remember how they were supposed to be re-mounted.
