Hello,
I am relocating my Battery to the trunk. I have a couple questions.
1, with my SPDT switch, what goes to the small studs on the switch(MDS)?
2, Does the Alternator "field/exciter" wire to the alt need to be disconnected to shut the alternator off?

Here is what I have.
1 guage wire for frame to Batt -
1/0 from Batt+ to MDS
1/0 from MDS to starter solinoid
4 gauge from starter solinoid to distribution block
4 gauge from Alternator Bat to hot side of MDS
