Alternative for waterpump?

Okay heres my scenereo. I'm doing a heads/cam within the next month or so, I'm going with AI for those who are wondering. I am not using an electric water pump and am going with the LT4 Extreme Duty timing chain. My car has 96,900 on it and as far as I know, the water pump has not been touched. I've never had any problems with it, or have ever had to tamper with it in anyway. Is there a cheaper alternative to replacing the whole thing at over $200? I would rather use that money for some bigger injectors or perhaps even new lifters. Is there a cheaper alternative like replacing any kinds of parts in there to assure good working order? Thanks!

Also I picked up some FelPro gaskets today. The whole set. Should these be good?

Cheapest route would be a cloyes double roller and a csr electric pump...both will cost about the same or around the price of the lt4 hd timing chain.

But if you dont want an e-water pump i would just use your stock one. Mine had 110,000 miles on it and it work fine.

If set on the LT4 ED chain just go to NAPA and spend $40 or so on a Remanufactured, had one on my car for like 70K sofar, bought it back when they only cost $36. If to snobby to put reman parts on think AZ has a new one with a lifetime warranty for like $60.
