alt fan and pulley bolt torqued?

alt fan and pulley bolt torqued?
my alternator went out so i got a new one, on the old one i took off the fan and the pulley w/ an impact wrench and polished them, my question is can i put it back on with an impact wrench or does the bolt need to be torqued? and to what lb? thanks
