Let me know if interested.

You can remove the belt altogether and only gain 5 hp at the wheels.

Dan,

I think the gears will be the #1 choice, and definately 3.73s and not 4.10s.
A cam change is a big job and I would only do it if you have the typical oil
leaks at the front and back of the intake and/or oil pan. For me solving those
leaks was a side benefit since I only installed a baby cam. I am probably
most happy with the leak free motor. I have to wait until I see dyno
results before I get too excited over the cam. Too many things going on at
the same time to schedule the dyno right now.

If you are seriously considering a cam change then you should also consider
going to the corresponding valve spring when you do the 1.6s. I had to change
them twice and had I known better I would have opted for once. The beehives
are really nice but there is a lot of choices.

4.10 gears are awesome mod...stay away from richmond think heard good things about strange, superior gm and some have good luck with gm motives.
Of course you could but them from gm but they are very pricey. And with 4.10 on street tires your car will get slower in the quarter but will be more fun..if you like smoke shows and stuff like that.On nittos it would gain quite a bit.

I had a pro 5 they are very noisy.I would stick with factory hurst if you want a bit better and quiet.I have hurst billet now but its still got some noise. Not as bad as pro 5 though.

And for cam yes its a lot of work.I think would wait and do heads and cam if you are going that far..those lloyd eliott heads and cam combos look very good for the money. And for now maybe 1.6 rockers would be a good thing.

Oh and if you don't want harshness from lowering springs you can get the slp eibach or slp progessives .Also I had hotchkis springs for a bit on my ls1 and they were not harsh at all..only problem is they had a problem with ls1 springs dropping two inches not one.I think the non eibach slp springs drop the car about 3/4 inch.I don't believe in dropping them much unless you have fantastic roads.
