I also have the SLP and love the way it looks, but i do believe that the Moroso may be cheaper. I'm not 100% on that though. Just choose whichever you like for the money. All of them should do about the same HP wise.

They all pretty much add the same hp/torque...

Of course the more you have done to your car the more it will add...

all depends on what you have done...if your car is bone stock it wont add much...if you go with a 52mm TB...ported heads/cam....then it'll add more....

Maybe 3-5 on a bone stock car...

I thought the HP gain was more like 13 hp stock. I'll tell you what though, I put my K&N CAI on my stock car and could tell a difference immediately. The throttle response was much better, and the power change was obvious. Keep in mind that my car was completely stock for 4 years before I added the CAI, so I was very used to the stock performance. If you're not very tuned into you're engine's performance, you may not notice it as much.

I got the FIPK put on my car. I am extremely happy with it's performance. I could notice a small difference. 10 or so hp won't be a big change, but you can notice a slight difference i guess. Personally, I just trust the name of K&N, because I have only heard good things about it and I've always been told they are the best.

My car now shifts at after 6,000 rpms after the FIPK, it shifted a good 500 to 1,000 rpms earlier before.

You can't believe the hype about cai's. The ram air through the hood is NOT the most efficient...spending a few bucks on cheap supplies to make your own cai is pointless...and you don't gain over 10 hp with an aftermarket cai on a stock car...

Maybe you felt a gain of some sort...but your car can only pull so much air from the surroundings...you'd be lucky to get 11-12 hp from your cai with ported heads/cam and a larger throttle body that helps to draw the air in...

Again...just my $.02

Moroso

I read that Callaway cars used Moroso because it flowed the best. It has the most volume of the three plus you are still using a K&N filter so you can't go wrong their. Summit will sell you one for 168.99 just tell them you found them cheaper at T byrne motorsports. I bought mine earlier today. Good luck

Lingenfelter!!!! best deal on the market in my opinion. I had a Moroso I bought used until I got the LPE. The LPE comes with a genuine K&N filter that is AT LEAST twice as big as the Moroso's. The LPE sits a lil lower too. Overall better fit all around IMO.

Save yourself $130 bucks and do this: Go to Advance, Checker, or any other place that sells the APC cold air kit for Hondas. I saw this a while back, and what I did is picked one up, it's actually kindo of nice. It has a 3" polished aluminum tube that is connected to a nice conical air filter. It does NOT sit in the wheel well area, it sits above that. Yes, you do get cool air in there. I also picked up a breather to go to the air pump. I had to cut about 8" off of the tube, I got a Fernco 3.5"-3" adapter, put the adapter on the MAF and then put the CAI in the other end. Being 3", it fits PERFECTLY under the hood with no clearance isues at all. I also must say that I wonder how I could have gone so long without having a CAI!! The SOTP feel was unbelievable! I could feel the throttle response pick up and it is definitely faster. Also, with the stock setup, in 2nd gear at WOT it felt like it was choking for air, now it revs all the way through 2nd with absolutely none of that feeling at all. I will post pics on my website once I get my 2nd coat of Zaino done and you can see what it looks like.
