Almost broke some grounds

When i was pulling my coil off i was taking off the stud with the bolt...well those wires that connect on with the ring connector started twisting and it tore the ring connecter almost in 1/2

its stll about 2/3's whole but im having a hell of a time finding some ring connectors that BIG.

the car has been running fine for months butttttttt that isn't something i wanna leave like that regardless.

what are all of those ground wires and could i ground them somewhere else?

Re: Almost broke some grounds

You shouldn't have any trouble finding ring terminals of that size. I would leave the grounds where they are. They won't really reach anywhere else due to the length of the harness.

Yep, I did that. Snapped all three wires. I put on new ring terminals 12AWG - the ones with the yellow color insulator.

I've replaced those ring terminals quite a few times now.
Seems like they galled to the nut and you don't really have much of an option once you start removing the nut.

I happened to have them laying around in the shop but I would think you could pick them up at any autoparts store.

I just went to Advanced Auto's website and they show a ton of different gauges and styles...may want to check them out.
