All guys who had their engines rebuilt or machined......

I'm picking up my motor from the machine shop tomorrow and was wondering what are some things I should ask him. I just gave him the block. He got the stroker kit......did all the machine work..decking..balancing and clearing. He's giving it back to me and my brother in law and I are gonna assemble it.

Was just curious on some of the things I should ask him. What would you guys ask him.

Where do you live in Hawaii, who did the machine work?
Thought I might have seen you around town.

Where does the piston sit in the bore? (flat, .005" down, .005" out?)

What is the Piston-Wall clearance?

What is the ring gap?

What does "all the machine work" entail?

Was the pan clearanced too, does it need to be?

With as much as the block was decked, does the intake need decked too so everythin will line up correctly?

Just some things that came to mind...
