I am preparing to join the 383 club.
I have more than enough info on what kit I want.
What should I do to for fuel pumping?
When you did the stroke, what besides the rotating assy, heads, intake and injectors did you do? Looking outside the box for what I have forgotten?

I would goto a 255lph in tank pump like the Racetronics peice (very nice).and at least 30# injectors.
Heads that flow are a must, if you think the 350 was air starved what would it be with 33 more cubes.
Get the right cam the first time, if you think a smaller cam will work fine , add 5 to 10 more duration to it and you'll be close to how it would act on a 350 (for instance a 230/240 @ 050 on a 383 would act like a 220/230 on aa 350)
I learned this the hard way and had to change cams, the car acted completely different after I went just this much bigger. Dont be cheap on the heads and the valvetrain.
Exhaust is a must I have longtubes and a 3 inch Y into a flowmaster 3 inch cat back, I pick up about 2 and a half tenths of a second with a cut-out.
Go ahead and get forged pistons now, you'll want to use nitrous someday, might as well build the engine once!!!

Pistons: Probe Forged Flat Tops 11.1:1 CR
Rods: 6.0 4340 Forged Steel H-Beam w/ARP 7/16 bolts
Bearings/Rods & Mains: Clevite 77 'H' bearing
Balancer: Pioneer Street Performance Steel 7" diameter
Flexplate: 350 SFI approved, 168 teeth
Balance: High performance street/strip,
Piston and rods matched +- 1 gram
This kit will take 200HP of NOS
$1,465.00

Looking at what you got there I only see two things I can advise you on. For a 200+ shot I would go with a 5.7 rod, and the CC305 ain't gonna cut it. I'd at the smallest go 236/242, in the upwards of the .590 lift numbers, on a 112 LSA. Once again thats just me. Other than that it looks good.
Yeah with the CC305 you'll be wanting more cam, It will have a buttload of torque down low but unless you have alot of traction it will be unuseable. I had the same problem, with the XE 224/230 cam it had killer torque and accelerated excellent but anything below 35 mph and traction was not there.
This is for road course applications, I should have stated that early on.

The CC305 with the 1.7rr should give you excellent bottom-end torque plus decent top-end power. And you definitely need the torque if you are going to be doing road-courses. So I would recommend that you stick with the cam you already have. The stroker kit also looks very good for your application. Good luck.

Hey RiceETR96...... what kinda 60' times did you do on that run. Do you have any other mods??? I don't mean any disrespect but those times seem slow. The reason I'm asking is because I'm going to the tracks this weekend for the first time and that kinda got me wondering.
