I just put on headers and on the way home my old air valve broke off from the connector going into the header. Any suggestion on how to patch that up? I tried removing the buttom half, but it seems to be stuck inside the header.

Would using a torch to heat it up and make it expand.. help if its been stripped inside the header?

 

In case anyone else runs against this issue here is what i did:

Soaked the fitting with PB Blaster
Tapped the fitting a couple of times
Sprayed PB inside of the fitting
Tapped..
Then used a 1/2" breaker bar to break it loose.
