Air Pump & A/C Removal + Power Stearing & Alt. Relocation??

ok guys, this is pretty indepth and im not 100% sure that it belongs in here (feel free to move it brent) but i got a hand ful of questions. ive been thinking for some time about removing my A/C and power stearing and dropping the alternator down to clean things up alittle bit and make room for some nice valve covers w/o having to notch them. but after much discussion ive decided that for a daily drive car removing power stearing is not the best idea. now, this car doesnt see rain or snow or bad days so im not worried about the a/c part but i still want to move the alternator down for the reason stated above(not to mention its ugly). i have looked at many kits but none seem to be just what im looking for. the mad man kit looks awsome but you need to get rid of power stearing as well and thats no longer an option(ive been talked our of it). i have also looked at the speedspecialties kit and it still has a pulley were the alt use to go. it just doesnt look right IMO. so... what i want to do is this. relocate the power stearing to the other side of hte engine bay were the air pump is, get rid of the a/c and move the alternator down. so all i really ahve to do is custom fab a way to get the powerstearing on the other side, then do the mad man kit if i understand this all... now for the questions. how do i go about doing this. lol. has anyone done something like this before? any advice? and is it even possalbe to move the power stearing over(it has to be!)? thanks ahead of time for all your help. and if you dont help, just throw in a comment about what you think of all this, i know its alot, lol

I know someone was making brackets that moved the alternator to the drivers side from the passenger side, allowing direct valve cover access. It also retained the A/C.

yea. i searched on here and all the kits i see are the ones on speed specialities that ahve that goofy tensioner that sticks way up where the alternator use to be. IMO that doesnt make it any cleaner. you just moved stuff for no reason.....

www.sjmmanufacturing.homestead.com has a real nice alternator relocation kit. Very good value for the dollar compared to others...though you'll have to remove the ac and Ps for this one to work.

I think they have had it for a long time and many guys have been using them. Might want to check them out.
