I put some seats from a 1999 Trans Am into my 1995. The power connectors hook right up, but the air lines are different.

On the 1995 seats, there was only one hose for each seat, and on the 1999 seats there are two. They have one clear hose and one black hose and have a special harness to connect them to the air line from the floor on the 1999.

I have hooked up the air lines with a t-junction so that my single line is running into both of the lines from the seats, but I do not get anything as far as support changes from either seat. The drivers seat is full power and works great, just the lumbar supports do not work on either seat.

Anyone done this and have it figured out? Let me know please, thanks!

 

I ended up buying a whole new airhose setup from the dealer since my car and the used seats didn't come with any.

It worked great for about 6 months, now the passenger seat still works like charm, but the driver's side has to be pushed repeatedely to get any changes. It works for like 1 second per click on the button. I need to get under there and figure out what is wrong. Any ideas?

 

Come on everyone, someone out there has had to have switched seats in a Firebird from the old style to the new style?
