Air/fuel gauge help

I am about to install an a/f ratio gauge in my car. The guy thats tuning it wants one in it to make it easier. Question is my car is a 94 so i have one o2 sensor on each bank, I was planning on putting a bung in on the back of the y-pipe so it will read both banks. I am going to just put another o2 sensor in there and run the gauge off that. Am i on the right path or am i making this all harder than need be. Also how would i go about running the o2 sensor? Thanks for the help you guys may have. Cory

you're talking about going with a wideband correct? narrow band doesn't really do much for tuning

I was just going to put a narrow band in it. Dont really have the funds for a wideband set up right now.

if you are doing a narrow band i wouldnt bother with an additional O2 sensor and modifying the exhaust as that would just add to the cost and it sounds like you are in a budget situation. but like others said, its just a light show in the car.
