the compressor is not good, but the car has never blew sufficent air even when the compressor was good. could it be the blower,condensor, or just the compressor.. i'm going to buy a compressor anyways used off another member will i need something else?

 

first off.. PLEASE do not buy a used compressor.


second can you detail whats going on a little more? is it not enough air coming through the vents or that the air is not cold enough?

 

but why not a used compressor ? i cant afford a new one.

would you by a used motor to put in you car? same deal. a compressor is a wearing part. not to mention if it has been sitting any period of time the front seal will dry up and make teh already imfamous GM compresor leak worse.

ok. the amount of air coming through the vents has nothing to do with the AC system. that only makes the air coming through colder.

iis the air ccoing out the vents as well as the flor or defroster? you could have a problem with the mode door. what about when the AC is on MAX is the fresh air door open to the inside? you could ahve a bad blower motor that is locking up or it could have trash or a mouse nest on it. there could also be junk on the heater core and evap core bloking air flow
