Exclamation !Air Conditioning

I am in the process of removing and rebuilding my motor, and I have decided to strip the A/C off the car since it wasn't working anyways. I was just wondering what if anything I will need or need to do in order for everything to work out. Thanks.

You need the "A/C delete" pulley and bracket from the 1LE cars. About $25. Some people need a slightly smaller belt after the delete. You need to decide if you want to pull the evaporator out of the heater box while the engine is still out. When you remove the condensor from in front of the radiator, make sure the rubber seals touch the radiator. Think that's about it.

Cool

I used an idler pulley from a 2.8 chevy and fabbed my own bracket up out of aluminum. You have to space it with some thick washers, but it's perfect and was free
