My air bag light comes on while I'm driving occasionally. It seems to do it more when its cold but I'm not sure.

Has anyone else had a problem with their SRS or the air bag diagnostic light comming on? and if so, what did you do about it? I dread a trip to the dealer to fork over a crap load of money just for them to say nothing is really wrong or that i'm gonna have to fork over even more money to get it fixed. I guess i should get it checked out, i dont want my air bags deploying out of nowhere.

Scan it, it could be something as simple as a bad connection or wire.

 

Check the ground it is on a post on the pass. side strut tower right next to the positive junction block coming from the battery.
