Ai Trickflow heads
Ai Trickflow heads
I just bought some Ai ported Trickflow heads and a custom blower cam for my '97 M6 WS6. It is inteded for a forced induction forged 355. But I will not be putting the blower on or doing the bottom end till next winter. The valvetrain is all done with Pro-Mag 1.6's and everything else and Ai is aslo porting my intake manifold. All the bolt-on's are done and I have a 12-bolt and a Spec clutch. Here are my questions:
- With the Trickflows on my stock bottom end, will I not hardly see any gains?
- Would it be a good idea or not to buy a different cam to help get a little more power untill I get the blower put on.
-Any suggestions on getting the most out of this package without the blower on.
I was hoping to see around 400hp, but Im thinking that wont happen with these heads dropping my compression.
Thanks

Re: Ai Trickflow heads
Keep them and do the heads/cam once. You wil probably still make ~370-380rwhp N/A with the setup. then slapping the blower on later will be easy (rather than doing a 2nd cam swap). It will run good.
