what kinda #'s are you expecting to put down? and what did your build consist of? I plan on a 355 stroker (hopefully this summer) and i would KILL for that kinda sound. When you get everything figured out, vids of WOT would own man. Nick

Aren't cams fun? I've been driving around with my new 224/236 with my supercharger unhooked and everyone in town is looking for a piece of me. Poor slow bastages, they just can't keep up. Now to fix my tensioner.

bone stock bottom end (82,000miles)

i dont want to guess any numbers but i think what others have been doing with similar setups is a good way to compare

p.s. a 355 isnt a stroker its just an overbore, well with a 350 anyway

stokc bottom end, why not build while you had her out of the engine bay? So you did CAM, Heads, and headers? Not bad at all man. I would love to do that, but i have 163k on my 96 Z28 man so not touching the bottom end is outta the ? for me. Sounds AWESOME!

the cylinder walls were flawless, you could still feel the cross hatching plus money isnt there right now for a bottom end, once it is tho it'll just be a budget 355 (forged pistons, eagle rods, stock worked over crank)
then accel DFI and rev it as high as i can

and all the work was done with it in the car, you'd be surprised how much room there is with everything removed.....enuf for 2 people to stand in there

You can do heads and cam with the motor in the car. I just did.

If you're not doing some serious nitrous or a turbo, a DFI unit is a bit of a waste, unless you intend to still be making power at 7000+ RPM.

well when the bottom end comes around i plan on turning it into a solid roller....so the DFI would come in handy

about $2k in the cam and heads, cam is billet

Yeah, as long as you don't want a billet cam.
