By aftermarket, I mean the tall aluminum or chrome center-bolt ones. Anyone get these to seal right? I've heard several people having problems getting them to seal correctly.

I'm mounting the alternator low, so that's not a problem. I just want to get plenty of clearance for shaft mounts, should I go that route.

 

I've got the Fab'd aluminum ones from summit (centerbolt). They have a slight leak to them. If i had it to do over I wouldn't have purchased them.

I have Holley Centerbolt Polished Aluminum Valve Covers, they are about a half an inch taller than the factory ones, so I had to grind the alternator some to get a proper fit, but they look great, and they fit right over my proform rockers...

 

I have the Moroso Centerbolts mounted to my AFRs , no leaks yet (about a year)

 

Scoggin Dickey sheet metal centerbolts here.... no leaks yet.

I've got the Granatelli aluminum valve covers. They are sitting on the shelf... no leaks here either. LOL!
