I have a 94 z28. Today I removed my stock steering wheel and airbag. I went to put on the aftermarket hub which went on great but when I went to tighten up the nut it was pressed up against the steering wheel coloum pretty tight. It was kinda hard to move the wheel. Is there something that I need to removed inside the coloum?? Theres a metal piece with waring decals about air bags,etc,etc ---I think the wheel is hitting that area. Was I supposed to remove that piece also. Any help would be great.
