Aftermarket LT1 heads

I am rebuilding my 1994 LT1 Camaro. I already have LT4 hotcam, 52mm TB, 1.6 rockers, stock heads, catback, headers, 3.42 gears, PCM tune, and ram air. I was looking at Trick Flow heads for my setup. Would this be a good combination for what I am currently running and are there any other reasonable priced heads that I can use?

I would say no.

If you're planning on doing the heads you might as well change that dinosaur cam to something that will put a huge smile on your face. Adding the heads with that cam will give you some extra oomph, but not nearly as much as ported stock castings and a custom grind cam. Just adding those heads and that cam might get you 35-360whp, but something like AI 200cc heads and a custom grind will easily get you over 400whp - for only marginally more $ than those Trick Flow heads.

Depends on what you are looking for. how high you want to spin it? Any particular purpose to this car? drag? road race? weekend cruiser? ET goals? HP goals? On a budget? Alot to think about before picking heads/cam combo.

Junk the cam and port the stock heads. Hot cam=junk.

I wouldn't call the HOT cam junk but it is rather old and if looking for more power and looking to swap heads I would be replacing it.

I would second Joe's recommendation of AI 200cc ported stock heads
