Re: after header install..rubbing? help

I had this problem with jet hot long tubes.. it was hitting the K member. I grinded it down alot compared to how it was, now that my motor is out, I really cut it down to size. The other place it can be hitting if they are long tubes is by the tranni mount.. They run right near it, if your running a y pipe.. Take the y pipe down and get a 4 angle grinder, a dremel youll be there all day for this, then just grind it down till you think it wont hit.. http://www.theheadfl.com/jethotlt.htm.. Thats a good install page, at the end of the install page he will show you where he grinded.. or just click here... http://www.theheadfl.com/pics/headers49.jpg... If its rattling in the back of the car its probably your cat back where it goes over the axle hitting the side of the car, youll see when you get under there.. for that just take a crow bar and pry it away, try not to dent the pipes, use a flat pry bar if u can..
