After disconnecting battery car runs funny any help

94 ta gt 58k modded
xe 230/236 cam
Crane 1.6 rr
hooker longtube headers
duals with flowmaster
combo motorsports .600 lift springs and pushrods
k&n cold air intake
trans go shift kit
3.73 gears
2800 stall program
tranny intercooler
new distributor with msd cap and wires
undercarraige pulleys

ever since the battery was disonnected the car runs good one minute the acts like she has a missfire at lower rpms. One day she runs awsome then the next she has a hesitation/missfire. Can any one help with this. I was thinking the computer reset itsself and is running at stock setting now and that whats causing this proble.

Re: After disconnecting battery car runs funny any help

When you disconnect the battery, the only thing in the PCM that "resets" are the long term fuel corrections. Drive for a few days, and they will rebuild to what they were before you disconnected the battery. Disconnecting the battery will not remove custom programming and return the PCM to stock.

Sounds like you might have a sloppy connection on one of the battery terminals.
