After CSI water pump install, temps up crazy, help me!!
I just did the CSI Water Pump Install, I think I did everything right. Now when i started my car, after i put coolant in, the temp gauge went from 160 to 260 in like 3 minutes. When I open the bleeder valve coolant comes out spits, like theres air in there, and smoke was coming out of it in like 2 minutes, and the coolant in the radiator was like boiling, but when i put the heat on in the car, it not hot at all. Could the pump not be working. I am pretty sure i installed it the right way. Is there any way to check without taking apart everything again?

I don't think you've bled the air out correctly ... get the car up to temperature so the T-stat opens, then shut off the motor. Turn the key to ignition-on (but don't start the motor), and the pump should run - open the bleeder screws and let air out of the system. There will be a solid stream of coolant coming out of the bleeder screws when the air is removed ... if it's 'spitting', then you've still got air in the system!

sure its not wired backwards? that would not push the coolant in its intended path and kill the cooling effect. IMHO. make sure its wired teh correct way and not spinning hte motor backwards. and, make sure the coolant is full and bled all the way.
