Valve Covers for AFR 220's, need help ASAP!

I finally got the moter in and am ready to get her toghter so I can take her down to school. I am building a 396 with afr 220 lt4 heads. The stock valve covers wont fit. Unless I am just stupid, I even hollowed them out, and they still dont fit and there is nothing inside of them. What valve covers can I use? Will lt4 vavle covers work? I need to be able to get a set tommrow to put on the car so hopefully if it runs ok drive it down to school. THanks a lot.

I've got 190's on my car and I had to double up the gaskets to make them seal properly. Don't know if that helps any?

FWIW, I have the AFR 210 LT4 heads on mine and I am using a set of polished aluminum covers that deminsionally are not much, if any different than the stockers. I used GM gaskets and they work fine. Don't know the brand I picked them up at a swap meet.

I have AFR 190s. The valve cover are should be the same (?). I put a set of LT4 valve covers on and the only problem was that I to shorten up the threaded area on the valve cover studs because the tapped holes in the AFR heads were not deep enough, ohterwise they fit fine.

Moroso fabbed (welded) aluminum valve covers...the AFR 220 & 227 heads are based on a different casting (different rail deminsions) than the 210 and smaller heads. Here's a set on my engine:
