Get a gap gauge and re-gap them. I think they need to be gapped at .4-.5.

.708 is the reach about how long the threads are......or how far it goes in the head.

Use them, always check the gap, even if they are pre-gapped.

.............
You do realize that .708" is close to 3/4". Have you ever seen a spark plug with a 3/4" gap? That should have been a clue right there that either the Summit info is bad, or you might have misinterpreted it.

Again...... .5 is a 1/2" gap. Have you ever seen a plug with a 1/2" gap? Why provide info if you aren't sure of the answer..... .4-.5 is a huge range, and an incorrect number.

Factory spec is 0.050"

mdacton figured it out. From the Summit catalog:

ACF-14

ACDelco RAPIDFIRE Performance Platinum Spark Plugs
Spark Plug, AC Delco, Platinum, Tapered Seat, 14mm Thread, .708 in. Reach, Projected Tip, Resistor, Each

My bad...I meant .04-.05. I said to get a gap gauge, so it should be clear what is needed.
