i ask this because i have heard a few good things about accell but i heard more with msd. the reason for the ? is i read about more msd failures then accell. is that because not as may people run them or they dont go bad

has anyone had trouble with the msd coils, i have one and and 2 others failed on me. just curiuos about this i use dieletric grease and grounded and noone can figure it out.

 

Both coils work great. I have never had problems with either coil

 

One may hear about more failures with MSD products because they probably out sell Accel 8 to 1. I'm not really certain of the number that MSD sells but they make decent products. I have had an MSD6a and coil on my truck for 5+ years. I've had the MSD Digital6+ on my Camaro for 4 years.

 

What about the jacobs box and coil? Anybody using them?
