AC or No AC who still has it who doesnt??

At this point im figuring on getting rid of my AC over the winter after my motor swap. Im just wondering who else has gotten rid of and why and who hasnt for whatever reason. My car is going to be still mostly a street car but i can roll down the windows

When its really hot out.. the T-Tops are off anyways... Since it seems to be winter here for 9 months outta the year (not really..but close enough) I havnt really missed it. I owned the car 3 years and never used it in that time. The day the clutch locked up on the compressor and shreaded a belt/ripped the pully off the car I did a 1LE delete. No regrets.

I still have mine, some days I would never think of getting rid of it.

Coming out this weekend = loss of another approx 50 lbs. Car is not a daily driver any longer. A/C = T-Tops!!!

Pulled mine out while doing heads/cam/headers. I put like 3,000 miles on the car every year at most, and I have another daily driver car, so no more a/c for me!

Well let's see. I have a +/- 435 hp V8 with all the trimmings, completely functional air conditioning, cruise control, 10-speaker stereo, 12 disc CD changer, etc. Pretty much everything that came in the car. There's just something about smoking that car over in the other lane (pretty much WHATEVER it is) and not breaking a sweat doing it...

Besides. It gets !@!#!@#@ hot here. I'd melt without AC.

IMO, I'd never ditch the A/C. Not interested in driving a stripped out car. Hell, I paid for options!!!

I have all the guts to the AC still on the car...but it isn't charged.

After my engine removal/rebuild...I never did refill it, but I never used it all too much to begin with.
