I have the jet hot headers on my 93 and the #1 primary tube is touching the "U" shaped ac line. Besides taking the ac out is there anything I can do to prevent burning a hole through it, anybody else have this problem?

 

Maybe try to bend the line a bit or even slip in a piece of head shield ?

I just removed the AC, so i forget what it looks like...lol

I have the same problem. I left it like that for now since I don't drive it that much right now. I do plan doing something.... . Maybe a little heat tape wedged between the two?

 

NOMAD!!! How did you remove the AC from yuor car??????

 

Just take it off Pretty simple actually. I made my own AC delete pulley, otherwise you will need one of those.

Think some new motor mounts might make it sit a tad higher? Also on the passenger side the the k member in one point is real close to touching and it rattles when idling.
