AC line is touching #2 primary

Is this ok? I tried bending it out of the way, but it wouldn't budge. Any suggestions, or will this not harm anything. They are jet-hot long tubes by the way.

just remove your a/c

there should be a little bit of play in the A/C line that goes from the firewall down to the A/C comp. (one I think yourtalking about)

I would put a zip tie around it and perhaps the other A/C line and tighting it as to try to move it off the primary a lil

as to if it will hurt it or not I have no idea

i had the same problem with my jet hots. take a long open ended wrench and put it on the line, get a hammer and knock it out of the way. i put a shirt in between the wrench and the line so i would not harm it. it's not touching my headers and my ac still works.

I moved it. There is now roughly .14" between the primary and the AC line....Is this enough?

no, I bent mine about 1" away. I used the butt end of a hammer, and tapped it down. the handle end, not the business end. the line will flex quite a bit since its soft alum.

mine is still real close, as long as it is not touching it should be ok. i didn't want to go to crazy with the hammer.
