AC line leak question?

The bottem AC line that runs parallel to the passenger side valve cover is leaking..It is the one on the bottem and has a connector on it...the line goes straight to the evap.

The leak is a small pin hole leak that was cause from my AIR tube rubbing against it..

Would it be OK to JB weld this hole??

yeah, i had a leak in the same spot. i'd suggest getting a new line from gmpartsdirect.com. i replaced mine a few months ago and it runs great. i think theyre $80. it wasnt a real difficult install either. took me about an hour and a half. and that was because half the time i was trying to find a way to get the old line out without removing the compressor (by the way, it doesnt work. and if it did, you would still have to remove it to get the new one in). plus the new line comes with all the new gaskets you need. hope this helps.
