AC Delco Wires and Plugs - Need p/n's

Does anyone have the GM p/n's for the stock AC Delco wires and plugs for a 96 Camaro?

I found p/n 12173592 for a wire set for a 97 and I am not sure if this is the same for a 96.

All I can find on the plugs is the AC Delco p/n.

Also, where is the best place to get these things? I was thinking about trying Jason Cromer. I would imagine gmpartsdirect and carparts.com would have them to. Any suggestions?

My local autozone and other stores don't carry any. I am not going to waste my time with the dealers.

Thanks for your help.

GM PART # 25166821 is for the stock ACDelco #41-943 plugs.

The number you have for the plug wire set fits 1996-1997. Jason is always a good person to call for parts.

Why go with stock? I would just replace them with a new set of Taylor or MSD's

At least get a better/different plug. The stockers are not designed very well at all. Those platinum pucks started coming off of mine after 5k miles. No joke.

Don't take just my word for it though, do some searches, you'll see.

I haven't read any thing bad about the stock wires. My car is stock and will probably remain stock. I want to run the wires in the stock locations and the stock wires sound the easiest. The stock wires have done good so far. I've read too many mixed reviews on aftermarket wires. This doesn't sound like something I want to do twice.

I am not using the AC Delco platinum plugs, just regular ones. It didn't sound like any of the expensive plugs were worth the money.

Thanks for the p/n's shoebox.

The regular/stock 41-943 plugs are platinum.

Stock wires are fine, those never gave me any problems either. Just the platinum plugs suck.

I didn't realize the stock plugs were platinum. Are those the ones that the pucks fall off of? I know I definately don't want those.

Is there a GM p/n for the non-platinum plugs? If so, would that be the AC Delco R44LTS plug?
