Angry ABS problems

My car recently went dead. I have no juice from the battery. All I hear is this clicking sound from underneath the dash, and I believe it to be something in the abs system. The light for abs came on for a couple weeks, but I didnt have time to get it checked out. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I am stranded on campus now.

I doubt the ABS caused your battery to go dead. A burnt lamp in the third brake light will cause the ABS light to go on. Will it jump start? Is it a Manual or auto?

It is a automatic. If the brake light caused this, can you help me with the nonstop clicking underneath the dash?

Are you sure the clicking isn't the starter clicking under the car... caused by a dead/low battery?

I was saying that the third brake light might be the cause of your ABS light being lit, not you battery going dead. Like Brent said, are you sure it's not your starter solenoid or maybe it's just a relay you wouldn't normally hear over your engine starting if it would. Check out your battery and charging circuit before you check anything else

The clicking noise you hear is most likely caused by the battery not having enough juice to start the motor. That seems to be the exact sound that my car made when the battery decided to croak. After replacing the battery,,,, no clicking and only starting.

Now the ABS light,,,,, I'd like to know more about that as mine is currently coming on as soon as I hit 15 mph and I'd really like to turn it off!!!!

.

The MAIN thing that activates the ABS INOP light coming on is a bad WHEEL SPEED SENSOR. the sensors are the same from 93-2000 and possibly -03 but nore sure about 01-03. I bought a new hub with wheel speed sensor from Billy Graham's Camaro/Firebird for a nice affordable price last year for my other 93 Z28 and the hub was off of a 2000 TA. fit and worked fine. same part.
There is 1 wheel speed sensors on each of the front inside of the hubs and 1 on the rear end as far as I know on my 93. Total of 3 wheel speed sensors per car.

ninetythreez, how do I find out which wheel speed sensor is bad?
Were they hard to replace and about how much was the damage?

Thanks,

Eric

actually mine did that last week, when i get going not only my abs light came on, but also my traction control light did, they both come on at the same time, i almost had a tear in my eye, im like what the hell is going on, two problems hit me at once....then i tried to cancell traction but the light would stay on, so i shut off the car and started it back up and they didn't come on again, it then did it again few days later. not sure what the problem is. hope they stay off.
