ABS INOP Light on
 

The ABS INOP light came on today for a second time in a two month interval. After shutting the car down and starting again the light will go off and everything seems normal. Any clues as to what might be causing this? I remember having read once that metal shavings adhered to the sensor in the differential could cause this. Any suggestions as to what to look for appreciated.

Mine did the same years ago; ended up being both the ABS control module AND brake motor. Dealer fixed it; have part #s if you end up needing them.

However, those parts new are $$$$$$$$

Hopefully it's not that.

Clean and tighten the ground that is on the RH shock tower (near the red plastic + junction block).
