Angry "ABS INOP" and BRAKE light is on

I can't figure this out, my ABS INOP light and BRAKE light is on and I just had my rotors turned and new break pads put on all the way around at a good shop. The lights never stay on, they just come on and off every now and then. Anyone have any ideas ?

try disconnecting all the abs connections and cleaning them w/ some electrical cleaner.

The problem is not with the ABS, it's in your brakes as a whole. Possibly the switch that trips the light indicating partial brake failure. I've noticed that if the Brake light is on, you get the ABS light for free.

Talking check this

this may sound silly and quite simple, but, check your brake lights. my abs light would flash off and on after getting over 30mph. i found out that my middle brake light was burned out and replaced it. the light never came back on.

Simple, you have a burnt out light on the spoiler. That will cause the error message.

my brake light is constantly coming on and then turning off. sometimes ill start the car and the light will be on for no reason. after i start the car a few times, if im lucky the light will go out. its just annoying to see a light that has no purpose, since i dont use my parking brake.... is there any reason why this light would be staying on, or better yet is there any way to disable that brake light....?

i had a broken tooth on my ABS speed ring in the rear end (3 channel ABS) and it turned on both lights.

Try the light in the wing, but if they are both working take it to someone who can scan for abs codes, It is the only way to narrow it down. Both my lights would go on every now and then, and it got worse to the point that they would stay on all the time, It ended up being the nut holding one of the gears in the abs controller came off, so it was an easy fix for me.
