When the ABS inop light comes on in my Z the first thing I check is the center mounted 3rd brake light in the spoiler. If it's burned out, you'll get an ABS inop light.

Has nothing to do with a tuneup and may not be your problem, but it's worth checking.

Is the red brake light on as well? If it is i would also check the black wire with the white or light grey tracer on the passenger side strut tower. It's a common ground between the two and tends to get loose and causes the light to come on.

i had a problem with mine once when i had the gm dealership here r&r my engine for me, turned out they zip-tied my plug wires to the brake lines and i guess the rf made by the spark going through them made the light come on, anyway that was my encounter with the abs system and could be other things. good luck

As slowz said, a plug wire to close to an abs line will cause the abs to act funny.

I had a problem with my ABS light coming on intermittently awhile back. It turned out to be a loose ground connection at the ground cluster on the passenger fender well.

Pass side abs wires pass might close to the exhaust just inside of the shock tower, check there.
I've also had a problem with the harness in the rear must have gotten caught on something and tore the insulation just after the harness plug above the axle. Patched it up and it worked fine.
