Go to a dealer and have them run the computer to find out what codes you are throwing. They will be able to tell you exactly what sensor is malfunctioning.

Find a friend at a pep boys or even a dealer, have him or her scan it for ya.. When my abs light was on I had my friend at a side shop scan it for me with the snap-on scanner.. Nice tool might I add. Being that it isnt your 3rd brake light, It most likely is a bad wheel sensor then.. have you played with plug wires at all lately?

i had just finished changing the driver side plug wires and the coil wires, just before it started coming on...that was monday night.

tonight, my buddy used his dads snap-on computer thing-a-ma-jig...and it came up being this:

LF WHEEL SENSOR

how to fix that? how much to fix that? and will removal of brake dust fix that?

thanks again,
steve

Well, my third brake light looks to be working and I have not moved any spark plug wires lateley so it must be one of the sensors..... Now just where to go to have this checked out,,,,,hmmmm. I will let you all know what I find out in the next few days...... BUT, I also had heard this lout pop sound from the rear of the car B4 the light came on and the brakes started to grab the rotors,,,,not a good feeling!

Later,
Eric
