? about useing a 2800 Stall on a cc306 and bolt on car
Found a good deal on a Vig 2800 lock up converter, but it is past the 2 year free restall period. My question is, is it worth putting it on my car with out getting it restalled.
Me and my wife both daily the car so i never wanted to much stall, and i know i should dyno it first before picking a stall speed.
I pretty sure 2800 is too small for my car ut will i still see some prety good gains with it?

at 2800 you will not get the maximum affect from a cc306 you really need a 3500,to choose a converter is easy if you look at the rpm level if it says this cam performs from 2500-6500 you should use a stall that is 1000 rpm higher than the 2500 so that the engine is already in the powerband so a 3500 would be the best for that application you can go higher but i dont feel it is nescesary, there are a few guys on this board and others that have that cam with 4000+converters but it is not helping them.

To get it restalled is $225, I dont really have the cash now to do that, any idea how much my e.t will differ with this stall and a 3500?
How much time do you think this one will take off my et's?
