For the money I think they are good headers. Check out this post: http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...hreadid=123465

Honestly, why not spend an extra $50 and get Mac Mid-length headers? Those are quite a bang for the extra cash. Plus, you'll see a couple extra ponies from the step up to the mid-length from the BBK shorties.

I've got BBKs and like em a lot. Finding a used set is even better!! The MACs are good headers too, and for just a few dollars more might be a wise choice.

But, since the question is not WHAT headers should you get, and instead, what are thoughts on the BBKs. Good headers. Doing me just fine.

I know LS1speed.com has them as well as a few other places. They'll run you just over $400 ($425+ range) and come with a Y pipe - unlike the dual cat BBks.

The BBK headers in the link above DO NOT come with a y-pipe because they're designed to connect to your stock cats.

What he said.

The 94-95 single cat set up DOES come with Y-Pipe...that's what I have on my car and I enjoy it. A friend of mine has a set on his 97 with a custom fabbed Y and likes them as well.

If you're looking to ditch the cats and want a better flow, perhaps the MACs are the way to go.
