i usually pull on my opponents right after 1st gear
3rd gear helps more.

I love my gears.

just be sure to get strange gears

IMHO, your better off saving that $600 for gears and install, slling your rear for $300 and getting a 12bolt for another $900...
you rear will go with slicks... and its only going to be another $600 + anything u ruin like spider gears

my car doesnt have enough ***** to justify the price of a 12 bolt.id prob go with a nine inch anyways due to the ease of gear changes.this cars only going to go a high 12 for a while.my buddys ta is running mid 10's on a stock rear and has been for 2 yrs.and he run 1.4 60 ft times on nitorus.

i ran an 8.4 last time with a crappy 1.9683 60 on nittos, however there were about 23 pounds in the nittos and i cant quite launch it like i would want to, so i figure with a little less air and a little more practice 8.2s will be easy
