If it's an auto, be aware that it will need a tranny rebuild between 100k to a 150k miles; if it's a manual, get receipts for the most recent clutch that was put in, and also take good care when you inspect it for engagement of the gears. Be aware that many have problems with synchros and 3/4 shift forks. In addition, you may or may not want to invest in some new O2's. All I can really think of off the top of my head.
And what do you mean optis what is that? Thanks.

I dont think lt1s have that many problems really. I drove mine from 80k to 110k stock and never replaced anything but oil. Also if i was you i would set my mind on a 95, has a vented opti but it isn't obd2 and you can probalbly find one for pretty cheap. Heck i got my trans am with 80k for 4800 bucks and that was 3 years ago. From what i have seen 97s cost just about as much as a 98 ls1...which would you rather have???

yes, i drive to work and back then work and back again in the same day. i drive like 50-60 with 3.73's and am in awesome rpm for mpg in 5th gear the whole way which helps out as well.

Where are you blackz? Just curious as your prices seem to indicate a near balance of sells between low and high octane, which is quite rare.
