I tried doing a search on the boards for similar questions, but didn't find any good ones...


Just bought a stock 97 WS6...have a set of MAC lowering springs, part number MAC20398. trying to figure out if they will cause probs with undercarriage/side mouldings. headers aren't an issue, as I prob won't do anything in that arena.

anyone have input?

Depends on the amount of drop. 1-2" won't do anything...more than 2" you might get into some trouble. I have the Eibach pro-kit which is around a 1 1/2" drop and I have 0 problems.

 

My buddy has macs on his car, great spring. The only think you'll want to do after you get them in as a front end alignment.

 

thanks all...I need an alignment anyway, so that would be a good time. Is there any additional or uneven tire wear associated with a 1.5" drop using lowering springs?
